This blog is about the journey of a couple driving along the sea coast of mainland India from Lakhpat in Gujarat to an yet to be identified place in West Bengal, a coastline of 4500+ Kms.

The journey is a post-retirement endeavour of Suryakiran and Veena Naik. The objective is to experience as much as possible of the coastal life. Birdlife, Fisheries, fishing methods & cuisine, Bird and coastal marine life, Forts, Lighthouses, Mangroves and whatever other things that come our way. We might add other activities. One common activity all along will be Photography and possibly sound recording.

The journey starts on 15th August 2016.  The end date is not decided. The end place is not decided either. We might enter into Bangladesh and continue our journey.
